L-1 fingerprint reader solutions use the company’s renowned finger matching systems in order to authenticate users in under a second. The enterprise access division’s pattern matching algorithm is sensor agnostic, and as a result can be ported to different readers without the need to re-enroll employees as a casino’s needs evolve, allowing them, for example to incorporate mobile fingerprint scanners if needed. The fingerprint readers can be used in conjunction with smart cards, tokens and/or PINs for dual- or multi-factor authentication.

The face readers offer convenient hands-free access control as employees need to only pause in front of the face reader to authenticate themselves. The face reader’s structured light approach allows it to make a match even in poor lighting conditions. L-1 readers also support smart cards and PINs for dual- or multi-factor authentication.
