  • SELF-CONTAINED BIOMETRIC SYSTEM
    Fingerprint matching requires more processing power than many embedded systems contain, and hence it is often difficult to add to existing products. Our embedded solutions solve this – they are full-featured, stand-alone fingerprint authentication modules that are optimized for embedded system applications. They have been designed with user convenience as the first priority.
  • HIGH-PERFORMANCE OEM
    A high-performance Texas Instruments Digital Signal Processor (DPS) provides the power to run the L-1 biometric algorithm entirely on the board and communicates to the host system via a simple API over RS-232. Templates can be stored on the board as well, up to 4000. Modifications to the host system are minimal and implementation requires little knowledge of fingerprint technology. The solution also includes a finger mask that fits around the sensor, so that only a square hole is required to mount the module in an enclosure.
