AFIS systems have come a long way since they were introduced to the marketplace. Their technology has increased in accuracy and their systems are more scalable and require more complex workflows. However, what has not changed is the fact that they tend to be difficult to manage and rely on fingerprint biometrics alone. Until now. Unlike traditional AFIS systems, our multi-biometric identification solutions handle finger, palm, face and iris, and employ a standards-based open architecture so internal IT staff can customize the capture, examination, search and verification processes as needed.
