Michael J. Murphy – President
Mike Murphy has over 18 years of federal government and commercial consulting experience. Mike served as a Cryptologic Linguist (Persian) in the USN. Mike was a Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton for 14 years supporting the Civil, Defense and Intelligence Community markets. His key clients included the National Reconnaissance Office, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. Mike was the National Director of Information Design Services for a Fortune 500 company (Spherion) for 3 years. His key functional areas of expertise include SIGINT analysis, training and education, human capital and organizational design and transformation.
Randy Rehovich – Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Randy Rehovich has over 20-years of financial and operational management experience in the government contracting market. Randy spent over 11-years with US Investigations Services (USIS), a major provider of security services to the federal government, where he held a variety of senior management positions and was a key leader in the establishment and success of the company from its origination. Additionally, Randy spent several years with DynCorp where he held several positions, up to his last assignment as the Assistant Controller for the Advanced Technology Sector. Randy holds a BS degree in Accounting and is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, Executive Development Program.
Glenn L. Carle – Vice President
Glenn Carle joins McClendon after having spent 23 years in the Clandestine Service of the Central Intelligence Agency, working in a number of overseas posts on four continents and in Washington, D.C. Glenn has worked on terrorism at various times since the mid-1980s. He also worked extensively on Balkan, Afghan, Central American, and European political, security, and economic issues. Mr. Carle’s last position was as Acting and then Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Transnational Threats, on the National Intelligence Council. Glenn holds a B.A. in Government from Harvard College and an M.A. in European Studies and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. He has done additional graduate work in International Relations at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris, France, and studied at the Université de Grenoble, France. Glenn speaks French and Spanish fluently.
Michael R. McGowan – Director of Business Development
Mike McGowan is a former Recon Marine and Arabic linguist, and has over 16 years experience in Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Operations. Mike specialized in tactical SIGINT operations as a member of the 2D Radio Battalion’s Radio Reconnaissance Platoon, and deployed with the 22d Marine Expeditionary Unit (SOC). As a contractor, Mike has managed a tactical reconnaissance program while deployed in Africa, and system development projects to support MARCORSYSCOM. Mike joined McClendon as a systems engineer supporting NGA in 2000, performing strategic planning and project management activities on large engineering contracts. Mike is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, managing and directly supporting McClendon’s marketing and strategic, operational and tactical business development activities.
William H. Dennis – Director of NGA Market
Bill Dennis has over 26 years of experience supporting the U.S. Government and DoD providing decision leadership in technical and engineering challenges to the Intelligence Community, U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. He has held key roles in the private sector and the Military in the areas of deployment and combat operations, management, planning, budgeting and acquisition. Bill is a seasoned leader who has a knack for taking troubled and struggling programs and turning them around with stellar results. He has a wealth of experience and innovative solutions to meet the customer’s mission.
Robert F. Prokop – Director of Defense Intelligence Market
Bob Prokop served in the United States Army for 24 years. After eight years of service in the Infantry Bob was transferred to Military Intelligence. Bob served in both tactical and strategic units, worked SpecOPs and served on the J2 JCS staff. Bob was the Battalion Commander of the 3rd MI Center, National Ground Intelligence Center, INSCOM, providing near real time imagery support to ground forces in support of the GWOT, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After joining McClendon LLC, Bob worked on the NGA GeoScout program as an Acquisition Specialist and Program Manager. Bob now serves as the Director for the Defense Intelligence Market. Bob Prokop holds a BS degree in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts, and a Master Degree in Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College.
Barbara Hempstead – Director of PAX/CAPCES Market
Barbara Hempstead is Director of the USACE Market and Program Manager for PAX/CAPCES contract. Ms. Hempstead joined the McClendon team in Sept 1989 to support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Prior to joining McClendon she held the position of computer specialist with Engineering Activity Support Agency (EASA) – Military Programs. Her efforts for McClendon in support of USACE have been recognized by GEN Temple with the Engineer Regiment Coin, and the Third Army C-7 Engineers Coin. In support of the Global War on Terrorism she was recognized with a Certificate of Recognition from CFFLC and a plaque for Support of the ARCENT contingency operations. As program manager Ms. Hempstead was instrumental in moving PAX from a commercial vendor to a government computing system, and migrating from a legacy system to the Web. Ms. Hempstead completed a BS from Virginia Tech and the USACE career intern program for Computer Programmers.
