McClendon Engineering & Analytical Services
Leading the way in GEOINT/MASINT science, research, and tradecraft development.
For more than 30 years McClendon Engineering & Analytical Services has been a leader in research and development of cutting edge Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Measurement and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT). We have provided critical scientific support to all of the Nation’s intelligence agencies (CIA,DIA, NGA, NSA, and DOD).
Imagery Science and Spectral Science
Our scientists have led the industry in developing unique solutions to the most difficult remote sensing challenges. Emerging sensor technology has provided new ways of extracting critical intelligence by using the full breadth of the electro-magnetic spectrum. Sensor design and imagery exploitation algorithms for RADAR, LIDAR, MSI, HSI, Infrared and Polarized Imagery have been provided by our scientists to extract the most information possible from these new forms of remote sensing. Additionally our staff of senior systems engineers assists our clients in designing, procuring, installing and implementing the complex hardware and software infrastructure that these technologies require.
Imagery Analysis
With an average of over 25 years experience, McClendon’s senior imagery analysts provide direct intelligence analysis support to NGA and other agencies. With broad experience in disciplines related to weapons of mass destruction, insurgency/counter insurgency, counter narcotics, counter terrorism and foreign military equipment our analysts provide in-depth analysis and expertise on a wide range of topics throughout the intelligence community. Additionally, our analysts form a core cadre of mentors, trainers and imagery analysis tradecraft development that is shaping and equipping the intelligence workforce of the future.
Collection Management
To support the intelligence communities all-source and imagery analysts, McClendon, has a professional staff of collection managers that provide guidance and recommendations for tasking a wide range of collection assets. Imagery, SIGINT and HUMINT collection tasking requires a detailed knowledge of not only the systems capabilities and limitations, but a keen insight into the entire intelligence tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TCPED) process. Our collection managers are highly respected and hold critical positions of responsibility throughout the community.
Geographic Information Science (GIS)
Another emerging field of research and development where McClendon scientists are making a tremendous impact is in Geographic Information Sciences. Our scientists are leading the development of new and innovative methods for displaying and analyzing geo-spatial and spatio-temporal information. Through database design and implementation; data analysis scripting; and innovative display techniques our scientists are leading the industry and the intelligence community in methods for more comprehensive analysis of existing and emerging data sources.
